  Cor drove the wagon south towards Sanctum. Rael’s horse hadn’t completely taken to him behind the reigns at first, but soon realized there wasn’t much choice in the matter. A body lay in the back of the wagon, a body with skin the gray pallor of the grave and a broken neck. Cor had covered the body with the bloodied robe of Jonn, the priest from Martherus. He left the other bodies for the vultures, his broken sword still impaling Jonn’s heart.
