My beta readers were my biggest motivators who told me they could not go to sleep without finishing my book, which told me maybe I’ve got something good going on here. They kept me going forward. They were essential in letting me know my book was entertaining them, a page-turning and thrilling read which was my goal. Thank you Marie Franklyn and especially Sandy Link.
And I can’t forget my best friend, Walter Fike. We went to junior high together. Walt is not a reader. He’s just an average guy with a family who loves to play softball and go to car shows. He actually asked me to send him more of my book to read after the first few chapters. I never could’ve imagined that happening in a million years with him, talk about surprises.
I began with my mother in the dedication, because without her helping me survive through my rough times, this book would never have been possible. Thank you again mom.
Dedication
I want to dedicate my first ever book to my mother. My mom has the biggest heart the world has ever known. She’s almost 97 years young with a mind as sharp as ever. Go mom, go to 100. She was always there to help anyone in the family, especially me. She is truly blessed.
