Invisible by George Kavsekhornak

Chapter Two – 37 Minutes Forward

Safron Tikhonovich felt an unprecedented burst of energy. Only one his main concern – is a feeling of deja vu. It seemed that entire he has done, he has just done, or, maybe half an hour ago.

After working Safron Tikhonovich went to the store to buy food. Without adventure bought cucumbers, milk, and other food. He paid for purchase to a cashier and went out from the shop. Had dinner at home and turned on the TV. A sense of deja vu has intensified. When he fell asleep, he didn't escape from the feeling that he was not alone in the bed and someone had already slept in it and this one was he, Safron Tikhonovich.

One day that strange feeling has disappeared by itself. Safron Tikhonovich went into the apartment, sat down on the sofa, last time it seemed to him that he was with a "double". He looked at his watch, turned on the TV. He blinked thus that seemed the world around all distorted.

The feeling of deja vu didn't visit him anymore.

  Chapter Three – Zero-Zero Minutes

Two graduate students looked at the installation in the premises for the experiments in the institute "The Study of a Nano-material in a Quadratic Cycle of a Space of Zero Beats". One of them was older. The other looked up, his eyes alight with excitement, and he was holding a small bundle.

"Well, get it?" asked the elder.

"Yes, as promised!" with undisguised delight replied junior and turned the palm with a packet.

Inside the packet was a cube, or rather the black cube.

"Oh!" the older exclaimed with admiration.

"Yes! This is a Black body. I assumed under the receipt in the laboratory of 'The Dark Nano-materials'. They didn't want to give at first, were afraid that we should break it, but I have convinced them. They warned only that we don't have to look at the cube for a long time. Install?" asked junior.

"Come on, but please carefully!" the senior ordered.

A young graduate student raised his hand with a black cube. Cube doesn't reflect light, and there was a feeling that he held a square dark hole. In the center of the pedestal installation was a cylinder height of about one meter. Top, in the center of the pedestal junior put the black cube. He noticed that the second door to the lab unlocked.

"Why did you open the second door?" asked the younger.

"I ventilated. Set for 37 minutes. Plug!" junior turned some switches and translated a large toggle switch in the up position. The laboratory was filled in with a green light. Next to the toggle switch on the control panel has a large black button.

"But don't set more than 37. More can't be installed. According to my calculations, the installation may not survive. We do not need unpredictability." Senior was calm.

Junior reached for the black button and whisper lent:

"Okay, set of 37. You know, I thought that ... We now send this cube by 37 minutes in the past, but because it wasn't there ... I put it just a minute ago. So, I think would not it to ... the space-time discrepancy? And, maybe even a collapse happens."

"Collapse! The past has already passed. The past has sunk into oblivion." the senior objected.

"So now we are going to make changes, do you recall about the Butterfly effect?

"This is a tale of science fiction. And, it seems to me, they would have given everything in the world to be on our site now. What are you afraid of, without an experiment, we still do not know. Unit of measurement is ready! Turn on, come on!" older was determined.

"Well, you know better. 'Iznantsy' go!" said the younger and pushed the button.

"We'll turn inside-out of this world!" exclaimed the elder.

Green glow became brighter. The whole world around twitched and went out. And, even the stars were only their outlines fading in time like chalk lines around cold bodies the once alive, which were left with so adventurous spirit. In the entire universe is one black cube left. Everything disappeared. The cube was floating in absolute darkness ... as an invisible.

  The End.
