Love to Love You Baby by Kasey Michaels

  * * *

  Keely stood under the shower, her head thrown back, allowing the water to cascade over her face, her breasts, her belly. Her skin was supersensitive, still remembering Jack’s touch, her response to that touch.

  He hadn’t left her this time. She’d left him, but not before they’d lain together, quietly, cuddled together. That was nice. That had been much more than nice. It was a memory she’d have forever, no matter what happened next.

  They still hadn’t talked. They might never talk. Hell, they might marry, have six kids, live together for the next fifty years, and never really talk.

  Probably because some things didn’t have to be said. Some things were just known. And sometimes it was better not knowing, not digging too deeply, investigating too thoroughly.

  Which had come first, her love for Candy or her love for Jack? And did it matter? She couldn’t think about Candy without thinking about Jack, and vice versa. She loved them both. Was that a crime?

  Keely tensed as slightly cooler air slid across her back, then turned to see Jack entering the glassed-in shower.

  “I thought we’d get done quicker this way, so we can head back to the house. And it conserves water,” he added, resting his hands on her shoulders.

  Keely fought the urge to cover her nakedness, then realized how ridiculous that was. There wasn’t a part of her Jack hadn’t seen, touched, kissed. “You’re crazy,” she said, pressing her palms against his bare chest, stealing a look at him, then grinning at his arousal. “And you think this is going to be faster?”

  “Probably not.” He reached for the soap, moved it between his hands, then began soaping her breasts. “I’ve been wrong before.”
