'Something Happened' error
Method 1 ( 4 steps )
Step 1: Hit the Windows key on the keyboard to open Start menu.
Step 2: Type in "Control Panel" in the search field to locate it and then launch the app.
Step 3: Click the Clock > Language > Region icon to bring up the new interface. Go to Region section and select the Administrative tab.
Step 4: Click on the Change System Locale button and set it to "English (US)." Restart your computer and then start the Windows 10 update process, which should now complete without any hassles.

For this method, just grab the Windows 10 ISO file and install it on your PC via bootable USB or DVD drive. You can create the bootable USB by choosing the option "Create installation media for another PC" during the setup or if you can burn the ISO file to a DVD.
This error may also be triggered while creating Windows install media with insufficient privileges. To create a stable installation disk, do the following:

A recent Google Chrome update (v45.0.2454.85 m) seems to have reactivated the browser crashing and freezing issue on Windows 10 systems as several users have been complaining about the issue on Microsoft Forums, Reddit and the Chromium Project issue tracker, in the last few days. The issue has been confirmed on both 32-bit and 64-bit variants of the Windows 10 OS.
The Chrome browser freezing/crashing issue was first spotted in Windows 10 build 10525, which was released by Google just a couple of weeks ago. And the issue seemed to be temporarily resolved through a recent maintenance update from Google.
However, folks at Bidness ETC have confirmed that the issue has returned with the advent of the latest Chrome update, as several users are reportedly encountering browser freezes while snapping the updated version of the Chrome browser to one side of the desktop.

Furthermore, Windows 10 users with more than one storage or optical disk drive such as SSD or HDD are said to be affected with this issue. However, there is a simple fix to resolve this problem:

Users might have come across an issue after Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 8.1, wherein the wireless networks are not available.
It occurs even when the wireless network adapter functions properly as well as after restarting and reinstalling the wireless network adapter driver several times.
The issue might also prevent the wired Ethernet connection from functioning properly.
According to Microsoft, the issue is caused by unsupported VPN software present during the Windows 10 upgrade.
"The issue may occur if older VPN software is installed on Windows 8.1 and is present during the upgrade to Windows 10. Older software versions contain a Filter Driver (the Deterministic Network Enhancer) which is not properly upgraded, leading to the issue," explains Microsoft.

Now restart your PC and check the Wi-Fi settings. You should now be able to get all visible networks around.

How to fix Black Screen at boot or AMD driver issues after upgrade
Windows 10 has been plagued with persistent bugs and inherent issues ever since its release, even as discerning users and industry experts are finding numerous ways to tackle or fix these problems permanently.
Some users are reportedly flooding Microsoft Forums with complaints about delayed boot-up issues, which are supposedly due to faulty AMD video card drivers.
The delayed boot-up issue is characterised by a black screen with a mouse cursor during the boot process, wherein users are reportedly forced to wait up to a minute on the same screen, before the login window appears.
It is confirmed that the issue is limited to newly installed AMD Catalyst 15.7.1 video card drivers and it can be resolved by restoring or reverting to earlier drivers.
This issue can be easily resolved using simple troubleshooting steps as outlined by the folks at Bidness Etc:
Step 1: Launch Start Menu and go to Settings > System
Step 2: Choose Apps and Features tab in the left pane and then find the AMD Catalyst Install Manager from the list. Finally, click Uninstall
Step 3: Select 'Yes' to confirm the User Account Control (UAC) prompt to grant permission for uninstalling the drivers
Step 4: Wait for the video card drivers to uninstall and then download the previous 15.7 version of the AMD Catalyst drivers, based on the system architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) of your computer
Step 5: Let the driver download complete. Then run the .exe file and extract the installation files for the driver to a desired location (preferably desktop)
Step 6: Close the AMD driver setup wizard after the extraction completes
Step 7: Once again launch the Start Menu and open up the Device Manager
Step 8: Scroll down and locate Microsoft Basic Display under Display drivers. Note: This means the video card drivers are not installed for the display
Step 9: Just ri
Step 10: In the ensuing dialog box, click Browse and then go to the folder where you extracted the Catalyst 15.7 drivers. By default, it should be located under C: > AMD folder
Step 11: Once you have selected the correct folder location for the driver, just click Okay and the setup wizard should automatically identify the driver within the folder and install it
Step 12: Finally, reboot your PC and it should start booting up normally without any boot delays or unexpected Black Screen, just before the Windows login.
